Is there any food you wouldn’t eat as a child that you would eat now?
I hated Brussels sprouts and all green veggies. Now, they are my favorite part of meals.

Is there a bucket list restaurant you’re dying to try?
There are a ton on my list, but I want to patronize a few friends first: Haymaker in Charlotte, and I’m waiting on Benjamin Dennis to get his thing going.

Who or what is your inspiration in the F&B industry?
Danny Meyers was one of the first restauranteurs to have multiple concepts with really talented people running them with his guidance and their vision. I hope one day to be able to achieve that.

Cellphones at the table: is that acceptable in our current climate or bad form?
Bad form, and I am guilty of it often. We all need to unplug and enjoy each other more.

What is your favorite local fall festival?
Savannah Wine and Food is one of my favorite festivals in the fall. Adfish does a great job and has helped grow my favorite festival, which is Hilton Head Seafood Festival!
