What is your favorite restaurant in the area (other than ones you own) and why?
I’m always working at dinner, so I split my lunches between Gruby’s Deli, Sunrise Café, and Bullies BBQ.

Is there any food you wouldn’t eat as a child that you would eat now?
Tomatoes!

What do you love about the food and beverage industry?
I love the number of people I get to see every day and the new experiences that brings.

Who or what is your inspiration in the F&B industry?
It would have to be my grandfather, Charles Hattman. He was not in F&B, but I saw how hard he worked, and I think it rubbed off on me.

If you had to eat Italian or Mexican food every day for the rest of your life, what would you choose?
Come on, that’s a loaded question! How about a taco pizza?!

What does hospitality mean to you?
It means consistently serving each and every person in front of us with a great attitude and food they will have to tell others about.

What do you like to make for yourself/family at home?
I promise you, I’m not just saying this, but my family lives off of tacos, pizza and gluten-free meatballs.

If you could choose another career, what would it be?
I’ve always loved music.
I actually graduated with a music degree, so possibly something in the music industry.
