What are the three most important lessons you have learned building your business?
Customer service is everything! They are the reason we are here. Make their experience memorable. You have to love what you do if you want it to grow. Many will want to share their opinion of how to run things. First off, hear them out; second, be grateful they care to share; and third and most important, decide if it will work for you.

Do you have a motivational quote?
“You’re smile is your logo, your personality is your business card, how you leave others feeling after an experience with you becomes your trademark.”

What is your balancing secret in managing a business and family?
This one has been a challenge for me, especially this year, but I think I have started to create a good balance. My new location of Moonlit Lullaby opened a week after I gave birth to my second child, my son Landon. Balancing a newborn, a toddler, and a new store was certainly a little crazy at first. What helped to bring balance for me was asking for help from those around me. We are so lucky to have a great support system, and my family and friends became essential in creating this balance.

What advice would you give your children about running a successful business?
Be kind. Be humble. Be gracious. You are the face of your business, and you will catch more bees with honey than with vinegar.

What is your guilty pleasure?
Any gummy candy, starting a new Netflix series, and shopping!
