What is a day like in your heels?
Wake up, bike ride with my hubby and kids, get dressed, head to the shop, answer phone calls, handle walk-in customers, place orders, take reservations, answer emails, close up, pick up kids, head home to make dinner and spend time with family, do a load of laundry and dishes, put kids to bed, and get some rest.

What have been some make-or-break moments in your career—important client meetings, presentations, procurement, pitches, etc.?
A “make-moment” was definitely getting the spot in front of the Holiday Inn express on South Forest Beach. It’s our satellite location, and we’ve had a great working relationship with the folks at the hotel.

On those impossible days, what motivates you to keep going?
My boys, Kingston (7) and Julian (5). Also, my husband JT; he’s an amazing father, partner, and best friend.

Do you have a motivational quote?
“Your dream is worth fighting for, and while you’re not in control of what life throws at you, you are in control of the fight.”—Rachel Hollis (I LOVE her!)

What advice would you give your children about running a successful business?
Customer service is key. People will always remember how you treated them. If you treat every person who calls or walks through the door with respect and kindness, they will come back year after year.
