HILTON HEAD ISLAND — October 2, 2012 — Nearly 50 breast cancer survivors walked the pink carpet on Monday night as Hargray once again hosted the Hargray HOPE Dinner at Robert Irvine’s eat! on Hilton Head. The dinner celebrates local women who have battled and continue to battle breast cancer.
This is the second year Hargray has teamed with Robert Irvine to host this very special event. In addition to dinner, this year’s guests of honor each received a $75 gift certificate, courtesy of FACES DaySpa, as well as several giveaways.
“The Hope Dinner is one of the most meaningful and touching events I have been involved with since joining Hargray,” said Eddie Andrews, Marketing Director of Hargray. “To have the opportunity to honor these women is very special.”

Thank you seems so inadequate when trying to express my appreciation to Hargray and all the people involved in the planning, preparing and hosting of the 2nd Annual Hope Dinner. Chef Robert Irvine and his beautiful wife are incredibly caring individuals. I have no idea how I was selected to attend, but want to let you know I am a stronger person after spending such a wonderful evening with my “comrades in courage.” I also want to recognize Hilton Head Hospital, Dr. G. Thomas, Dr. T. Rzeczycki, and their respective Nurses and Staff. I am here today because of them!
