Relay for Life
Author: Maggie Washo
Tomorrow evening (May 7th) will be the first time I attend The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. It will be held at Honey Horn Plantation from 7pm to 7am in honor of all of those who have lost the battle to cancer, and those who have conquered it.
Having just recently lost a dear friend, Pierce Lowrey, to this nasty disease, I now have a reason to go.
It is an all night event (because cancer never sleeps) with activities, bands and different walks ( anyway but forward, pajama walk, crazy hat) that anyone can participate in. Or, you can just sit all night and enjoy the company.
The whole CH2 crew will be there – please join us!
