Wanderlust: Sightseeing in Sea Pines

A trip to Hilton Head Island is never complete without a visit to Sea Pines Resort to see (and take a selfie in front of) the famed candy-striped lighthouse in Harbour Town. As you climb the steps to the top (and take in the breathtaking view of the famous eighteenth hole at the Harbour Town Golf Links), you’ll learn about the island’s rich history through vintage photographs and stories.
Next stop, South Beach Marina Village for some ice cream and Salty Dog T-shirt shopping. If you’re lucky, you may just run into Jake, the flat-coated retriever who made the Salty Dog brand world-famous.
Beachcombing is more fun on Hilton Head Island, where white sand stretches for miles and seaside bars are plentiful.
Lawton Stables is a must-do to reconvene with nature on vacation. A petting zoo and daily trail ride offerings get you up-close and personal with a myriad of furry friends who can’t wait to meet you.
You’re in good company when you end a day of play at CQ’s restaurant. Famous golfers are often spotted at this lively bar, which has been hosting visitors after the RBC Heritage since 1973.
