Holiday season is a festival of food and friends at Catch 22! This year we are looking forward to adding an 11th year of celebration to our memory book. With so many loyal locals, holiday dining at Catch 22 takes on the warmth of a family gathering. Local owners and operators Gary and Penny Duren and Chef Bryan Bobinchuck and myself (Daisy Bobinchuck) work with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. We constitute a happy group, dedicated to each other and our customers.

Winter dining on Hilton Head is geared toward the Islanders. With oyster season at its peak, Catch 22 is showcasing fresh local oysters. Oysters are hand-shucked and prepared in traditional fashions as well as unique daily specials created by Chef Bryan. Rosemary Fennel Pork Chop stuffed with Oyster Cornbread is one of my favorite specials! Bryan uses the most fresh ingredients in all of his dishes. Seasonal fish is often brought in by local boat captains, we can tell you where your fish was caught and usually the name of the person who caught it. Chef Bryan also loves to fish and catches his own “Fresh Daily Catch” every chance he gets. Home-grown vegetables are bought from the farmers market in Charleston and are often organic. Soups, sauces and even bread are housemade from scratch. You will taste the difference of cooking without preservatives! Our chefs at Catch 22 are always happy to accommodate special dier requests such as vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and food allergies.

Let Chef Bryan and I help you plan your special occasion! Catch 22 boasts a back room with seats up to fifty people. We are happy to design and print your special menu and place settings. We will work with your price range, so it can be as fancy as you like. Penny and I love to decorate for the holidays, creating a warm and festive ambiance. We can also help out with customizing décor for wedding parties or private functions giving your gathering a personal touch. Catch 22 will also come to your home, office or even your boat to cater an event or party, you will enjoy while we do the work!

Our warm and wonderful staff at Catch 22 invites your family and friends to enjoy dining with us this holiday season. Our dedication to the quality of your food and expertise of your service will ensure a happy and memorable experience. At Catch 22 we appreciate your friendship and value your patronage.

Some one once asked me what I was most proud of. I didn’t hesitate I said my children. When I came to Hilton Head 25 years ago, I had 2 children, seven hundred dollars, and no car. We lived in my parent’s house they built in 1981. Both kids wanted cars and my response was “Get a job.” They did exactly that, and worked hard to get it. Both my kids learned the value of a dollar, and realized that anything worth having is worth working for.

Starting over in a new place in hairdressing was a lot of work. My dad handed out my cards to everyone he knew. He said “I’ll get the customers, you keep them happy.” After 25 years I have fortunately developed a very loyal clientele. I have found the secret to my success, it is be on time, be affordable, be accurate, and listen
to your customer because they are always right.

The above pictures are a small sampling of my work. I see many different ages, thick, thin, curly, and straight hair. I ask my customers such questions as: How much time do you have to fix your hair? Do you work? Along with others of course, because there are many variables to consider if a hairstyle is going to fit a customers schedule and personality.

Not only are my clients my business, but they have also become my friends. I feel that a hard days work is something to be proud of. If I can put a smile on someone’s face and make them look and feel better, then I have done my job.
