COCKTAIL. LIBATION. BREW.
Whatever you call it, there’s nothing better than a cold drink with spirits to take the edge off of a hot summer day. Courtesy of local watering holes, we share a few of our favorite summer beverages.

Thank goodness Prohibition was repealed!

1. CQ’S “BLUE LADY MARTINI
(Pictured Above)
1.5 oz Patron Silver
3/4 oz Cointreau
1/2 oz Fresh Squeezed Lime
3/4 oz Clue Curacao
Scoop of Ice
Salt
Lemon twist

Pour Patron, Cointreau, lime juice and Blue Curacao into cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with lemon twist. Salt rim optional.

2. THE MELLOW MUSHROOM SUGGESTS THESE GREAT SUMMER BREWS TO WET YOUR WHISTLE.
Sam Adam’s Summer Ale:
Bright and citrusy, brewed with Grains of Paradise.

Bell’s Oberon Ale:
American wheat ale brewed with Saaz hops. Spicy and fruity.

RJ Rocker’s “Son of a Peach”:
Unfiltered American wheat ale made with real mean peaches. The only thing missing is the fuzz.

Sweetwater Blue:
Light-bodied ale with a hint of fresh blueberries.

3. SAN MIGUEL’S “MARGARITA ON THE ROCKS
1.25 oz of Cuervo Gold Tequila
1.25 oz Grand Marnier

5. Skull Creek Boathouse “Skull Creek Sangria”
6 oz Gazela Vinho Verde wine

Combine all ingredients in a wine glass over ice. Enjoy!
